FULL DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT MATTER ON TAPE
Selectmen Present: Stan Howe, Dennis Doyon, Don Bennett, Jack Cross, and Robert Everett
Staff Present: Manager Doar, and Deputy Clerk Hanscom
Others Present: Terry Karkos
Manager Doar opened the meeting and requested nominations for Chairman of the Board. Jack Cross moved, Robert Everett second to nominate Stan Howe.
Jack Cross moved, Robert Everett second to cease nominations. All were in favor of ceasing nominations.
Manager Doar called for a vote on the nomination of Stan Howe as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. All were in favor.
Manager Doar called for nominations of Vice Chairman. Jack cross moved, Robert Everett second to nominate Dennis Doyon.
Jack Cross moved, Robert Everett second to cease nominations for Vice Chairman of the Board of Selectman. All were in Favor.
Manger called for a vote on the nomination of Dennis Doyon as Vice Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. All were in favor.
Manager Doar turned the meeting over to Chairman Howe.
Discussion took place on two amendments to the Oxford Counrty Sherriff’s Office contract. First amendment was to change the effective date from April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2010. The Second amendment was to article 13 to change notice of termination from 90 days to 60 days with written notification. Dennis Doyon moved, Robert Everett second to approve and execute the amended Contract with Oxford County Sheriff’s Office. All were in favor and the amended contract was executed.
Dennis Doyon moved, Jack Cross second to approve the regular meeting schedule July through December as written. All were in favor.
Dennis Doyon moved, Robert Everett second to approve the letter as written showing support of Gould Academy’s grant application for installation of a biomass wood boiler. All were in favor.
Dennis Doyon moved, Robert Everett second to adjourn the meeting. All were in favor.
The meeting adjourned at 8:06 PM.
