FULL DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT MATTER ON TAPE
Selectmen Present: Stan Howe, Dennis Doyon, Don Bennett, Jack Cross, and Robert Everett
Staff Present: Manager Doar and Deputy Clerk Hanscom

Dennis Doyon moved Robert Everett second to approve the minutes of the May 3, 2010 Selectmen’s meeting. All were in favor.
Warrant for RSU # 44 Budget Referendum was executed.
Dennis Doyon moved Don Bennett second to approve a letter of support for the Black Mountain of Maine RBEG Grant. All were in favor.
Don Bennett moved Robert Everett second to advertise for a 3 person wind power ad hoc committee. All were in favor.
Discussion took place on proposed amendments to the Entertainment, Sewer and Water Use, Traffic, Parking and Pedestrians, Signs, Site Plan Review, and Subdivision of Land Ordinances. The general consensus of the Board was to accept the changes that the Ordinance Review Committee proposed.
Don Bennett moved Dennis Doyon second to approve Ordinances with the amendments that were recommended. All were in favor.
Dennis Doyon moved Jack Cross second to approve the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Discussion took place. Dennis Doyon amended the motion to change Article 10 to read taxes will be due October 1, 2010 and April 1, 2011 but payable without interest until November 1, 2010 and May 1, 2011. Stan Howe, Dennis Doyon, Jack Cross, and Robert Everett were in favor of the amendment. Donald Bennett was opposed to the amendment. All were in favor of the motion once amended.
Discussion took place on the public meeting that will be held on June 8, 2010 with MDOT for deck replacement of CNR Bridge.
The board will meet on June 1, 2010 at 6:00pm to look at Davis Park and parking options, and look at the operations at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Discussion took place on the grant for the waste water treatment plant. The Board of Selectmen would like to table the contract until their June 1, 2010 meeting.
Don Bennett moved, Jack Cross second to approve and sign warrants # 2010- 45 and 46. All were in favor.
Dennis Doyon moved, Jack Cross second to adjourn the meeting. All were in favor.
The Meeting adjourned at 8:15 PM.
