1. Call to Order

At 6:55 PM Chairman Cressy called the Public Hearing to order.  

2. Opening Statement    

Chairman Cressy asked if there was anyone from the public who would like to speak for or against the project.  One person responded in the affirmative.  

3. Declaration of Quorum

Francis Dumont rejoined the Board.  

4. Subdivision Application
Project Name:           Farwell Mountain Estates Subdivision
Applicant:              Farwell Mountain Estates, Inc.
Authorized Agent:       Rick Dunton, Main-Land Development Consultants
Location:               Map 22 Lot 29

Chairman Cressy allowed Don Murphy, an abutter on the Intervale Road, to give his comments on the project which focused on storm water devices and drainage, and septic system as they relate to the dug well on his property which is downhill from the subdivision.

Chairman Cressy invited Rick Dunton, Main-Land Development, to give a 5-minute presentation as most were already familiar with the project.  Mr. Dunton entertained questions from the Board, Mr. Murphy, and Mr. Blood who joined the meeting late.

Mr. Blood inquired about the build up of Holt Hill Road beyond Second St. as well as before it.

Mr. Dunton explained that the developer has no plans to improve the sections of road before or beyond the subdivision.  Mr. Blood voiced his concern that the road, as built, will not be able to hold up to the increased traffic.

Chairman Cressy asked for any additional comments from the public.  There were none.

5. Adjournment

7:09 PM – Jon Cowan made a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing, Larry Engdahl seconded the motion; it was unanimously approved.
